Another Easter Sunday, a glorious celebration of a promise kept- the most glorious promise of all time.
A promise of redemption and restoration, of salvation and cleansing from sin.
And ultimately, a promise that death would be defeated by the resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Christ the Lord is risen today, Alleluia!
We live in that promise everyday. Our faith rests on that promise. Our hope resides in that promise.
Because we know God kept His promise, because we know He rose on the third day, just as He promised, therefore we know He will keep His promise to return. He will come for us. We don’t know the year, the day, the hour, but we stand ready, listening for His call. Because we know our God keeps His promises.
Every single one.
