Luke 2:1-20; Revelation 19:1-6
There was a beautiful, majestic song that the angels sang on the night that Jesus was born. It was a song of redemption- the Savior was born. It was a song of peace and restoration, of companionship with God, of joy.
When Jesus returns to take us home to Heaven, we will join the chorus of the multitude and sing hallelujah and glory to God for eternity.
Now, as I wait for Him to come back for me, I want to spend my days tuning my heart to sing His praises. Through the long, sad and lonely days, through the beautiful and fun days, I want my voice to already be a part of that eternal chorus.
What should my song be? I believe it should be the same as that of the angels- redemption, peace, restoration, companionship, and joy. I shouldn’t fear ever running out of praises to sing to my Lord.
